Porthclais Harbour

A small picturesque harbour near St David’s, Porthclais harbour is a popular summer spot for launching paddleboards and kayaks and is the starting point for many of the local activity centres.

How to get there & parking

You can use what3words pulses.graphics.flopping to find the harbour, with two small car parks that fill very quickly in the summer months.

Things to do

Porthclais Harbour is one of my favourite places near St David’s to get out on my paddleboard and go for a bit of cliff jumping. Whether you are here to launch your kayak/paddleboard or head out with the local activity centre, there is so much to do. For those wanting to explore the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, this stop offers you a small cafe with toilets where you can rest those feet before heading back out.

Local Adventure Companies

Porthclais Harbour is the starting point for many adventure companies. TYF and Preseli Venture are two excellent local companies that offer many different activities such as paddleboarding, kayaking, climbing and more! You can guarantee a day full of fun and memories.
