My Thoughts On The Andark 10’6” SUP

I remember the first time I was introduced to paddleboarding and started to look at buying my own, it was quite a daunting task. With lots of different sizes, shapes, features and prices, it can all become really difficult trying to work out which is the right board for you.

Over the past few years, I have been able to try out a fair few boards from different brands, but most recently I was able to test out the Andark 10’6” paddleboard and let me tell you, I loved it. While I haven’t been able to get out on it much over the last few weeks with the weather, I thought that I would create a small post sharing my thoughts on it.

When I have previously tried different boards, it has taken me a moment or two to get used to it but this time it was different. From the moment I stepped on it, I found the stability of it was just amazing. Being 10’6” long, this board is a perfect all rounder, ideal for oceans, lakes, rivers and bays. When I was testing it out, I passed several different boats and it handled their wakes very well. Too many times I have seen people get thrown off their boards by a boat. In the busier areas of the River Hamble, having a stable board I can be comfortable on with bigger boats passing is a huge plus for me.

One of the important parts of a paddleboard for me is how it looks. It can feel great to use but if you aren’t a fan of the design, then you’ll never truly love getting out on the water with it. The Andark board ticks all the boxes for me with its blue design. You’ll find Andark in big letters on the underside, with a neat looking blue design on top and the best part for me, is the scuba diver on the side. It is definitely a smart looking board!
